Home And Sangria

Monday, September 26, 2011

Well I made it home tonight about 5:30. Ended up taking the kids to dinner and having a bit too much sangria then had to come home and try to figure out my online classes while being a bit on the tipsy side.

I have a few stories for you all, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow night. Tomorrow's the first day of my classes and hopefully I won't be shot dead on campus for my political views.

But here's a couple of shots from the day.

Wide awake, well sort of, and ready for the six hour ride home.

After riding for six hours and a carafe of sangria. Where's my bed?

Great time for you to relax, having caught up with your family (more or less).
See you tomorrow.

OH sister that last pic is less then flattering.. course it had been a long week hadn't it. Well they may not like your views but that is the greatness of this country you have a right to them and the ability to state them..

I like the second picture, you look like a teeny tiny 7 year old girl up way past her bedtime.

Welcome home my riding friend.. I bet it was an adventure. Glad you made it safe. Hope you have more photos to share. So tell me how do you manage to take classes after coming back from a long ride? I tend to have a hard time focusing on things after a ride, usually requiring a week or so to get back to normal with occasional tendencies to jump back on the bike and just go. Hang in there!

You should carry some bullet proof textbooks with you and hide behind them.

Nothing like a carafe of Sangria to make you sleep like a baby :)

What's the point of figuring out classes if you can't do it while tipsy? Ah, college days...
